繼私房菜後又一新作, 在芝加哥這美好的夏日, 不錯的又一新玩意!
下週國慶日, 可以請阿爸找天試試! 嘻…
You thought you heard about something like that in conversations, seen it on movie or TV, or read in some kind of recordings… but it came to our ER one day. An obese about five hundred pounds lady presented to the ER with some medical problem, and they found a penny under her right arm pit during physical examination, a hair brush under her left breast, and a remote control in her groin area… The weirdest thing happened was this information was passed along during our lunch… and everybody was having a real good appetite. I was just drinking my water though!
It was contageous picking up cooking again. I made pecan cups for a party last week and started off dessert-making among my friends. I think I got to tried green tea cheese cake later from a new invention… I do like to try new stuff, because I refused to be restricted by habits and rigid thinking. Why would I have to do things the way they ususally go if that works for a better cause? Why should I follow traditions and cultures if they do not carry the value of keeping them? Who am I kidding but myself?! I refused to be limited!
It’s a day of intense walking in downtown Toronto and TTC. Went to parts of the city that both my friend and I had never been before: the University of Toronto, Royal Ontario Museum, and Yonge Street shopping. I had the best Dim Sum in Toronto this morning, but I don’t think we’ll have time to have tea again in that place!! We also had very nice Shanghai cuisine this evening, too bad we don’t have anything close to that in Chicago. I will have to eat less after coming back to Chicago.
My feet are hurting right now, but my mind is still running off far away… like this morning… even with such intense activities. Don’t know how long it will last, and don’t know if this is good or not!
